The paper pointed out that after the patient was infected with the new crown virus, the fat cells were destroyed, causing the fat plug to enter other body organs through the blood, forming a membrane structure in the lungs, which in turn caused severe respiratory dysfunction.

Professor Enzo Nisoli, a professor at the National University of Milan, added that obese patients infected with the new crown virus, especially those with internal organs, are more likely to develop fat inflammation caused by the death of fat cells.

The National University of Milan noted that Italian and French researchers reached the above conclusions by conducting autopsy studies of 19 deaths from COVID-19 and 23 patients who died from other diseases.
