author:Bright Net

On the morning of January 31, the sun was shining.

In the canteen of the Third Division's Toyun Ranch, laughter and cheerful music are accompanied by cheerful music, rendering a strong festive atmosphere. Volunteers of the Western Plan, "three branches and one support" personnel, special teachers, and government staff members together wrapped dumplings in laughter and talked about homely things.

Many of them, like poplars on the Gobi, have taken their roots deeply here, harvested career and love, and witnessed the past and present of the Toyun Ranch.

One

At the Toyun Ranch, there was hardly anyone who didn't know her. In 2013, Shao Shuqin, who was about to graduate from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, saw the poster of the Western Project volunteers posted on the campus, and the sentence on the poster was "Use a year, not a long time, to do something unforgettable for a lifetime", which touched Shao Shuqin's heartstrings.

At that time, this southern girl had many curiosities and expectations for the northwest frontier. With this curiosity and anticipation, Shao Shuqin came from Guangzhou to the Toyun Ranch, thousands of miles away from home.

When he first arrived, the harsh environment of the ranch gave Shao Shuqin a "dismount". Looking around, there are barren mountains and Gobi all around, and even grocery shopping has to run far away. But Shao Shuqin did not regret or flinch, she took the initiative to integrate into the environment and life of the ranch, chatting with the residents here, attending their weddings; she learned to steam steamed

Work, fitness, reading, in the days of Tuoyun Ranch, Shao Shuqin lived every day very fully.

In her work, Shao Shuqin is down-to-earth and diligent, has made great progress in her writing ability, expression ability and coordination ability, and has planned a number of cultural and sports activities to enrich the cultural life of the local people.

Whenever he looked up at the sky, Shao Shuqin couldn't help but sigh: I had never seen such a blue sky, never seen such a brilliant and vast sea of stars!

After the expiration of the one-year service period, Shao Shuqin applied for her to stay, stay in this place that made it difficult for her to leave, and became the first female college student to stay since the establishment of the Tuoyun Ranch.

At the Toyun Ranch, Shao Shuqin harvested love, married a special teacher, and soon had her own baby.

Now there are more than 20 shops in Toyun Ranch, which can receive postal couriers, it is much more convenient to buy vegetables, school facilities are getting better and better, life is becoming more and more convenient, and more and more young people come to Toyun Ranch.

Growing up with Tuoyun Ranch, Shao Shuqin believed that this was the most valuable thing.

Two

"Xiao Ning, the dumpling skin is rolled out like this." You see, be thick in the middle and thin on the sides. Qiao Youping, deputy director of the Party Building Office of Tuoyun Ranch and secretary of the Youth League Committee, said to Ning Yongkang, a volunteer of the University Students Western Program, while giving a demonstration.

"You see, isn't that the case?" Ning Yongkang quickly rolled out the qualified dumpling skin in a similar way.

In 2011, Qiao Youping came to Toyun Ranch as a student volunteer of the Western Project. "I've seen the ranch evolve." He said.

When I first arrived, there were only 7 buildings in towon Ranch, and I had to go to the water supply point to fetch water.

One night in July 2014, a heavy rainfall caused the Water of the Chuckmark River next to the site to swell and flood the ranch site, threatening the safety of the ranch site.

After hours of hard work, Qiao Youping and more than 20 colleagues finally blocked the drain, and his hand was also scratched while carrying a sandbag. By the afternoon of the next day, the flood had receded and they were busy repairing the dam.

"That experience made me feel like I had truly become a Toyun rancher, and I felt that the burden on my shoulders was heavy. I was determined to make this place better. Joe Youping said.

Whether it is in the Youth League Committee, the Party Building Office, or other positions, Qiao Youping and his party love and take root in the Tuoyun Ranch. Today, Qiao Youping is already a father of two children, his wife works in the Ranch Women's Federation, and the family lives and is harmonious.

Three

Chen Ya has been very happy lately. Although she is in a foreign country, she is warm in her heart for the New Year with many friends.

On July 25, 2017, Chen Ya came to the Corps to carry out volunteer services for the Western Program. In the face of everything unknown, Chen Ya not only had trepidation in his heart, but also the excitement of facing the challenge.

Participating in the pre-job training, she was moved by the glorious history of the corps, and the different customs and habits of the frontier areas made her curious - this land deeply attracted this little girl from Gansu.

After that, Chen Ya took the initiative to apply and came to the difficult and remote Toyun Ranch.

After a period of work, Chen Ya found that to do a good job, the professional knowledge learned in the four years of university is far from enough. She raced against the clock to recharge her batteries, eagerly learning, accumulating experience in practice, and continuously improving her business level.

When she was doing a good job at the animal husbandry station, she was transferred to the Cultural, Sports, Radio and Television Service Center. Quickly integrating into the new environment and understanding the new work, Chen Ya did not hesitate or complain, and threw herself into the busy work.

A year of publicity work has allowed Chen Ya to have a deeper understanding of the Tuoyun Ranch, fall in love with the simple local people, the border guards full of a sense of mission and honor, and become friends with many college student volunteers, special teachers and "three branches and one support" personnel who have taken root in the frontier. The tears and laughter, experience and harvest in the meantime were unconsciously turned into a fortune, making her more confident and calm.

In 2018, Chen Ya was awarded the title of "Outstanding College Student Western Program Volunteer", and she was also pleased to be recognized, and regarded the two years of work experience in the ranch as a valuable asset in life.

At the end of the service period, Chen Ya plans to study for graduate school to enrich himself. When she heard the news of the shortage of teachers at the Red Army Primary School in Tuoyun Ranch, she took the Special Gang Teacher Examination of the Corps and became the fifth-grade mathematics teacher and class teacher of the Red Army Primary School.

At the beginning, her teaching practice ability was insufficient, and she actively asked colleagues and school leaders for advice and learning. In class, she is strict with every child; after class, she is a good friend of every child. Here, Chen Ya has his own life and career.

"I like the people here, I like the tranquility of toyun Ranch, I like this business even more." Chen Ya said.

Integrating the "small self" into the "big me" and increasing the talent in practice, more and more young people are exerting their youth sweat in the corps.

Spring is coming, youth is just right; brave to chase dreams, youth without regrets. (Bingtuan Daily all-media reporter Bian Fang, Cao Yidan, intern Li Jiaxin, Jiang Yang, correspondent Tikong Bayi Kurban)
