The two chinese chamber orchestras that took stage tonight were created by Hongmei and their members were selected from the best graduate students in various majors of the Folk Music Department of the Central Conservatory of Music. The Sacred Wind Chamber Orchestra is composed of Huqin, Ruan and Percussion, while the Yijing Chamber Orchestra is composed of erhu, Zhonghu, Pipa, Guzheng, Ruan, Flute, Yangqin, Sheng, Percussion and other instruments, and the two orchestras respectively present the exploration of different forms of ethnic chamber music.
