At the Beijing Winter Olympics, the post-00s athletes of the Chinese sports delegation galloped on the ice and snow arena, igniting youth with passion and striving to grow.

"The moment I landed, I had a special sense of accomplishment"

During the pre-race training of the freestyle ski women's big jumping qualification, Yang Shuorui, who had just turned 18, had an accident when he landed on the ground and was sent to an ambulance for emergency treatment.

After treatment, Yang Shuorui decided to return to the game. In the competition, Yang Shuorui's three jumps landed smoothly, but he failed to advance to the final. "It's a pity that the difficult moves that have been practiced for a long time have not been made." She said.

In October 2018, because of "curiosity", Yang Shuorui began to contact freestyle skiing, and after understanding it, he slowly liked it. "Grabbing boards in the air, landing on the ground, the action is very handsome, I like the feeling of leaping." The moment you land on the ground, you have a special sense of accomplishment. Yang Shuorui said. When training, she has to practice each movement for a long time, "the process is difficult, perseverance is victory."

"The next cycle, hope to reach new heights"

On February 7, the women's single bobsleigh competition was held, and Wang Peixuan made his debut in the women's single bobsleigh event of the Winter Olympics.

On the evening of February 8, after the third round of sliding across the finish line, a bright smile bloomed on Wang Peixuan's face. Although he failed to reach the fourth round, Wang Peixuan surpassed himself every time. Wang Peixuan said: "I am very satisfied with my performance today, and my results are getting better and better every time. ”

Seven years ago, Wang Peixuan, a javelin thrower, did not know much about bobsled. After being selected to join the Chinese bobsleigh team, her talent in this project gradually emerged.

Now, Wang Peixuan has set his sights on 4 years later: "I will continue to go all out, the next cycle, I hope to reach new heights." ”

"Our team is a united collective, always supporting each other"

In the short track speed skating arena, Li Wenlong's silver medal is full of weight. In the men's 1000m final on February 7, he was full of momentum and was not afraid of challenges, and finally stood on the podium of the Winter Olympics.

Winning the silver medal at the First Winter Olympics, Li Wenlong said: "It feels good to win glory for the country! With the help of my teammates and the whole team, I was able to keep going. ”

From practicing skating to standing on the podium of the Winter Olympics, Li Wenlong spent 10 years. When he first joined the team, he was very thin and had never even skated on ice.

In order to bridge the gap with his teammates, he threw himself into it. It is with a lot of hard work that Li Wenlong entered the national team, stood out in the selection competition, and successfully qualified for the Winter Olympics. "I learned a lot from the olympic experience to the on-the-spot response to tactical execution." Li Wenlong said, "Our team is a united collective, always supporting each other. ”

This silver medal, for him, was just a new beginning.

"The competition is very rewarding, and I have accumulated courage and experience"

On February 9, the women's steeplechase pursuit of snowboarding began. Feng He is the youngest of all the participating athletes, only 17 years old this year.

Although he stopped in the quarterfinals and practiced for just over three years, Feng He has become the first Chinese team to participate in the Winter Olympic snowboard slalom chase. At the end of the competition, Feng He formulated a more specific training plan, "Go back and practice, first practice the physical fitness."

Feng He began to be exposed to sports at the age of 12, from sprinting to snowboarding, and the transition was not easy. Obstacle course chases are fast, require climbing over obstacles, and have to jump in the air from time to time. At first, Feng He, who was used to running on the ground, did not adapt. "I have to thank my coach, who often encourages me to say ' you can do it'" Feng He said.

With a strong momentum, Feng He was growing. Feng He said: "The competition has gained a lot, and I have accumulated courage and experience. ”

"I sometimes dream of myself flying"

On February 5, Song Qiwu of the Chinese team appeared in the men's individual standard platform competition of ski jumping. Although he did not qualify for the final round, Song Qiwu said he saw a gap when competing with the world's best players.

Song Qiwu has only been engaged in ski jumping for only 3 years, from track and field athletes to ski jumping, Song Qiwu said: "When I first transformed, I was breaking through my psychological limits every day. ”

From 30 meters, 60 meters to 90 meters, with the increase of height, Song Qiwu is gradually adapting to ski jumping. "I sometimes dream of flying all the way to the audience." Song Qiwu said.

For Song Qiwu, the Beijing Winter Olympics are a valuable asset in his sports career. He said he would continue to train hard and strive to play well in future competitions.
