At the end of January 2022, Aston Martin officially released a teaser video of the new DBX model, which was thought to be a DBX S version of the car and used a V12 engine, but the result was somewhat unexpected. Just recently, Aston Martin released the official picture of the car, which is not named DBX S, but DBX 707.
From the appearance point of view, the new car continues the overall design style of the current DBX model, but as a performance version of the model, the DBX 707 uses a more exaggerated and aggressive sports kit. The front face uses the aston Martin family's signature grille shape, but is larger in size. At the same time, more aggressive vents were designed above the engine canopy, as well as a newly designed daytime running light style, and more exaggerated body surrounds and tail diffusers were used. The new car also offers multi-spoke rims in two sizes and is equipped with carbon-ceramic brake systems.
In terms of interior, the Aston Martin DBX 707 as a whole continues the design of the current model, equipped with a large central control screen and LCD instrument, the lower part of the center console uses the latest design, driving mode selection, suspension mode, active exhaust switch all use physical buttons, no need to select through the touch screen like ordinary DBX. And the seats are available in black and blue, infused with leather and Alcantara, and support 16-way adjustment and heating.
In terms of power, the new car is not equipped with the V12 engine we imagined, but is equipped with a 4.0T twin-turbo V8 engine, with a maximum power of 707 horsepower, a maximum torque of 899 Nm, an acceleration time of only 3.1 seconds at 0-96km/h, and a top speed of 306km/h, matching a 9-speed automatic transmission.
