Tesla recalled more than 810,000 vehicles in the United States to record domestic models

【Smart Car Pie News】The electric car "one brother" Tesla has recently encountered a lot of trouble. Recently, the national highway traffic safety administration (NHTSA) website showed that because the buzzer may not work properly when the vehicle is started and the driver is not fastening the seat belt, Tesla will recall more than 817,100 cars in the United States. However, the domestic Tesla customer service said that at present, there is no recall explanation related to the problem of domestic model seat belts.

According to information published on NHTSA's official website, the recalled vehicles include the Model S, Model X, Model 3 produced between 2017 and 2022, and Model Y models produced between 2020 and 2022. According to Tesla, this problem may be related to some software errors in the vehicle, although Tesla has not announced how it will be recalled, but it is likely that the software problem will be improved through OTA upgrades.

In addition to the buzzer issue, NHTSA also announced another recall from Tesla. The reason for the recall is an abnormal "rolling stop" function of the vehicle, involving nearly 54,000 Tesla models. NHTSA said the cars, equipped with Tesla's fully autonomous driving beta software, could "roll out the parking," posing a safety risk. The "rolling stop" feature allows Tesla to pass through intersections with Stop Signs at 5.6 miles per hour. NHTSA notes that the risk of collisions may increase when the vehicle does not stop completely and passes through the intersection. Tesla said it would address the problem by banning the use of the feature through an OTA upgrade.
