Beijing Miyun Machine Tool Research Institute has an office in Beijing, we live in the office for a few days, and live in Miyun for a long time. At that time, I also had to open a letter of introduction to the unit when I went out, and it was difficult to stay without a letter of introduction.

At the Miyun Machine Tool Research Institute in Beijing, I saw the black-and-white TV set for the first time, and watched the movie "Zhan Hong Tu" on the TV, and the Miyun black and white TV set did not seem to have a TV antenna, so that later every household in my city had a high TV antenna standing outdoors. Went to the Miyun Reservoir, there are many steps, rest for a few days before walking to the reservoir dam. My old colleague invited us to his house for dinner, and my favorite thing was shredded potatoes. Potatoes seemed to be a tight food in Miyun at that time. Miyun is generally rich in goods, oranges, chestnuts, etc. can be seen everywhere, these items are almost invisible in the northeast city where I live; Miyun also supplies peanuts during the Spring Festival, and we do not supply peanuts for the Spring Festival.

We ate Peking duck in Beijing and the impression was very fragrant and greasy. The deepest impression was that I bought several comic strips such as "Huang Jiguang" in the bookstore, commonly known as the "Little Man Book". The bookstore clerk rolls up each comic strip on yellow, green, or other colored paper and fastens it with a paper rope, which is beautiful. I wanted to unwrap the package in the bookstore to read it, and the clerk said that it was not allowed to be unwrapped in the bookstore. Took the subway to the Military Museum, and also bought a lot of incense erasers in the store, ready to take home and distribute them to friends, we did not have incense erasers there.
