If Fangguan lives today, she is also an excellent artist and has become an idol pursued by many boys and girls, but she lives in the Qing Dynasty, which has a low status. Although the author Cao Xueqin has always emphasized that this novel does not have an exact background of the times, it can be seen from some details that Cao Xueqin's Dream of the Red Chamber wrote a lot of historical stories of the Qing Dynasty, such as the abolition of untouchables.

In the Qing Dynasty, the status of the drama was very low, belonging to the industry that did not enter the stream, and also belonged to the untouchables. This is a passage in the fifty-eighth episode of the Dream of the Red Chamber, from which it can be seen that the imperial court issued a decree abolishing the untouchables and disbanding the drama team, and these twelve little dramas who are willing to stay are working as yahuan in Jia Province, and those who are unwilling to stay are still free to go home. At that time, only four or five people were willing to leave Jia Fu and go home, and the rest were left to make YaHuan, including Zhengdan Fangguan.
Because Fangguan was Zhengdan and people were born beautifully, Jia Mu deliberately pointed out Fangguan to Baoyu, and after Fangguan went to Yihong Courtyard, several things happened, including tearing up with Aunt Zhao. Although Fangguan is only a singing girl, her heart is very high, and ordinary people still can't see it.
Once she got a packet of rose salt, Jia Huan came to ask for it, and Fang Guan sent him away with jasmine powder, but she didn't think about it but caused Aunt Zhao to make a big fuss. This time, although Fangguan seemed to have the upper hand and won the battle against Aunt Zhao, in fact, she offended two people, one was Aunt Zhao and the other was Tanchun, which also laid the groundwork for her to be picked up in the future.
The spring qi gradually calmed down. But Qiao Aiguan quietly returned to Tanchun and said, "It's all Xia Ma Su Ri and us who are not right, and they always make things up." The former Lai Lotus official burned money, fortunately Baoyu told her to burn it, and Baoyu responded herself, so she had no words. Saying that, he broke the cake in his hand piece by piece, threw it at the birds, and said with a smile: "Sister-in-law Liu, don't be distressed, I will come back and buy two pounds for you." ”

Fortunately, the young lady died a short life, otherwise you would have come in and you would have gathered together in groups and been killed in this garden. You've even deceived your. Not just others! Because of the drinking: "Call her to come and take her, and reward her to find a son-in-law outside." Give her everything she wants. He also commanded: "In the previous year, all the girls who sang opera with girls were not allowed to stay in the garden, and they were all ordered to take their wives out and marry themselves." These words of the mother-in-law's suing Fangguan reached Madame Wang's ears, and it is no wonder that Madame Wang specifically mentioned Fangguan when she was inspecting the Grand View Garden, and the girls who sang the opera were all fox spirits.
FangGuan's beauty made Lady Wang dislike it, and she was not at ease, and even suspected that Fangguan entered the Yihong Courtyard to bring bad Baoyu. Madame Wang took the opportunity to inspect the Grand View Garden and took away the small drama left by Fang Guan and others.
After Fangguan was forced to leave Yihong Courtyard, she was completely dead-hearted, unwilling to live with Gan Niang, afraid of being sold again, and had to choose to become a monk. At that time, Fang Guan suddenly saw through some things and wanted to cut off the love affair and become a monk. Lady Wang could not resist them, and had to agree to the ordination of Fang Guan and the other three.
In fact, Fang Guan did not know that she chose to become a monk, and there was no good ending. However, she was unwilling to follow Gan Niang, afraid that she could not control her own destiny, and in order to make her own decision once, Fang Guan insisted on following the Mizuki Nunnery Zhitong to become a monk. Bao Yu knew that after Fangguan was forced to leave Yihong Courtyard, he was discouraged and decided to become a monk, and he also knew that Fangguan was willing to cut off his love affair and become a monk.
If Fangguan compares Jia Fu to a prison pit like Ling Guan, then her following Zhi Tong to renunciation is equivalent to leaving the prison pit and entering the wolf's den.
