2022 online "Happy Spring Festival" literary and artistic festival, let these cultural programs "go to sea"

Under the global epidemic situation, in order to further promote overseas cultural exchanges, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism held the 2022 "Happy Spring Festival" cloud literary and art festival for Finland, Estonia, Greece, Canada and Belgium. From January 30 to February 2, the live broadcast event has been successively unveiled on city television, network and social media in five overseas countries, and has been internationally disseminated and pushed on Beijing time, Visit Beijing and other platforms.

The festival includes Chinese-style martial arts, dance, Peking Opera, music performances, and showcases the scenery of Beijing, ice sculptures in the Year of the Tiger, ice and snow Winter Olympics and other scenes.

The dance "Fish Leaping Dragon Gate Backgammon" brought by the Dance Troupe of the Central National Song and Dance Troupe is vivid and borrows the past and the present. In the Song Dynasty, Lu Tuo wrote in the "Pi Ya Shi Yu Chapter": "The fish leaps over the dragon gate, and becomes a dragon, only the carp may be." "People jump the dragon gate with fish, which means to work hard, have a successful career, and make their dreams come true."

The program "Cow Joyful Tiger Leaping" performed by the Central Conservatory of Music, played by a large drum, showed the stubbornness and fierceness of the cow, the mighty and bravery of the tiger; the martial arts performance "Zu Wu Chengyun" brought by the Dragon Yun Martial Arts Troupe, using Chinese fans as martial arts props; the Peking Opera song "Ode to the Pear Blossom" brought by The artist Bai Jin of the Beijing Opera House in Beijing sang gracefully and magnificently.

The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics coincides with the Spring Festival, and fashionable ice and snow sports are intertwined with Chinese New Year folk customs and traditional culture. The song "Ice and Snow Winter Olympics" composed for the Beijing Winter Olympics combines the theme of the Winter Olympics with the festive and peaceful Spring Festival atmosphere. This literary and art festival specially invited the artists of the Central Conservatory of Music to welcome the Winter Olympics and adapt the theme songs of the Winter Olympics into folk music versions.

Liu Binbin, the inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of Beijing sugar painting, came to the scene to display his 12 Zodiac works and improvised "blowing sugar people" at the scene. In order to welcome the New Year with overseas people, the inheritors have bragged the Finnish cartoon image "Moomin", the Estonian cartoon image "Lotti", the Greek national treasure animal dolphin, the Canadian maple leaf and so on.

2022 coincides with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Greece, and the Greek version of the "Happy Spring Festival" specially planned Chinese New Year's Eve dinner session, inviting ancient Greek theater experts Luo Jinlin and Luo Tong's father and daughter, Greek photographer George and his wife, Beijing Hebei Yizi Theater Troupe Leader Wang Hongling, and China Critics Theater Art Director Wang Yaxun to gather together to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

Luo Tong and George also led the audience to tour Shichahai and visit Sanlitun to feel the unique charm of Beijing's historical and cultural features and modern urban civilization. Visiting ancient cultural shops in Yanbao Xie Street, rabbits, paper fans and other traditional Chinese crafts are given new ideas; Shichahai Ice Rink is popular, showing the warm ice and snow sports atmosphere of the Winter Olympics; tasting rock sugar gourds, donkey rolls, enemas, barbecues and other Beijing specialties in the hutongs; Various fashion brands, trendy dressing and rich cultural and artistic activities in Sanlitun Taikoo Li highlight the fashion vitality of Beijing as an international metropolis.

"Jasmine", performed by Ida Elina, a famous Finnish singer, composer and top kontler, was featured at Beijing Design Week. She combines Chinese folk songs with Finnish instruments to form a unique artistic style of Chinese-Finnish fusion.

The Finnish version of "Jasmine" will also be unveiled in the online Finnish version of the "Happy Spring Festival" literary and artistic festival, and the Central Conservatory of Music will perform "Jasmine" in the form of traditional folk music in the live broadcast, and artists from China and Finland will communicate and dialogue with music.
