The festival includes Chinese-style martial arts, dance, Peking Opera, music performances, and showcases the scenery of Beijing, ice sculptures in the Year of the Tiger, ice and snow Winter Olympics and other scenes.
The dance "Fish Leaping Dragon Gate Backgammon" brought by the Dance Troupe of the Central National Song and Dance Troupe is vivid and borrows the past and the present. The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics coincides with the Spring Festival, and fashionable ice and snow sports are intertwined with Chinese New Year folk customs and traditional culture. The song "Ice and Snow Winter Olympics" composed for the Beijing Winter Olympics combines the theme of the Winter Olympics with the festive and peaceful Spring Festival atmosphere. This literary and art festival specially invited the artists of the Central Conservatory of Music to welcome the Winter Olympics and adapt the theme songs of the Winter Olympics into folk music versions.
Liu Binbin, the inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of Beijing sugar painting, came to the scene to display his 12 Zodiac works and improvised "blowing sugar people" at the scene. The Finnish version of "Jasmine" will also be unveiled in the online Finnish version of the "Happy Spring Festival" literary and artistic festival, and the Central Conservatory of Music will perform "Jasmine" in the form of traditional folk music in the live broadcast, and artists from China and Finland will communicate and dialogue with music.
