Revenue soared 68%! AMD made $16.4 billion last year

Citing Internet news, AMD recently officially announced the annual revenue of 2021, and the two-pronged approach of new products and technological breakthroughs, AMD's 2021 can be described as a full pot.

According to the financial report, AMD's revenue in Q4 was $4.826 billion, up 49% year-on-year, while full-year revenue was $16.434 billion, up 68% year-on-year.

AMD expects revenue of approximately $5 billion in the first quarter of fiscal 2022, an increase of approximately 45% year-over-year, while the company expects revenue to reach around $21.5 billion, or about 31% year-over-year, throughout fiscal 2022.

In the past two years, sales of PCs and electronics equipped with AMD chips have been soaring, and AMD has also recently released new chips with significant performance improvements, which allows the processor manufacturer to challenge Intel, the largest supplier of PC chips.

AMD says it has the production capacity it needs to grow in 2022, spending $1 billion in 2021 on AMD to secure long-term production capacity.
