"Although it is dark at present, this is the symbol of pre-dawn, please wait with peace of mind: after this cold winter, spring will surely come to the world!" In 1947, Chen Zhenxian left the last family letter in his life in prison, heroically righteous.

The letter was delivered to her mother, Xia Shuqiong, who felt sad about the loss of her loved ones, but also felt gratified by her son's bravery. On the road of revolution, Xia Shuqiong's family fought firmly against the enemy, her home became the transportation liaison station of the county party committee, and 5 children also embarked on the road of revolution. Putting down her family letter, she continued to lead the "revolutionary family" in the harsh winter, fighting towards the spring.

The family's heart is toward the party

She is the "old revolutionary mother"

Xia Shuqiong's husband, Chen Hongyu, was a college student with progressive ideas, and in the low tide after the defeat of the Great Revolution, he bravely took the lead, organized the masses to burn Japanese goods, cracked down on profiteers, and launched the famous "Anti-Hundred Taxes" movement. From beginning to end, Xia Shuqiong fully supported her husband's revolutionary work.

In early 1932, after participating in the Longgao Rebellion in Fuqing, the eldest son, Chen Zhenfang, took Huang Xiaomin, then director of the Propaganda Department of the Fuzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, to his home to live temporarily and treat malaria. During this period, the revolutionary ideas preached by Huang Xiaomin stirred Xia Shuqiong's heart, and in the small attic where Huang Xiaomin was settled, Xia Shuqiong established a secret party activity point and served as an underground traffic officer. Similarly, in this small attic, Chen Zhenfang and Xia Shuqiong took the oath to join the Chinese Communist Party.

Persecuted by the enemy for launching the "Anti-Hundred Taxes" movement, Chen Hongyu's body has always been sick, and he unfortunately died of illness in 1934. Xia Shuqiong endured her grief and continued to carry the banner of struggle, gradually revealing her superior courage and talent.

In the autumn of 1934, when Huang Xiaomin led a Fuqing delegation to Lianjiangsu District to investigate and return, the ship stopped at the port of Douyuan Village. Suddenly, a message came that the county security team had received a tip-off that there were Communists here and were about to come here to pursue them. The crowd was momentarily anxious and did not know what to do. With her familiarity with the local environment, Xia Shuqiong was in a hurry, found a small boat to send Huang Xiaomin and others to Dongbi Island to hide, and then entrusted Chen Hongyu's friends to find the mayor of the town to mediate, successfully preserving a large number of revolutionary backbones.

Since Xia Shuqiong was entrusted by Huang Xiaomin to establish an underground traffic station, no matter where she went, the traffic station was built, protecting countless communists, and giving revolutionaries love and warmth like a mother, so everyone called her "old revolutionary mother".

Douyuan Sanyingjie

Go to the battlefield one after another

The "old revolutionary mother" not only participated in the revolution herself, but under her influence, her children also went forward to embark on the revolutionary road, and the three sons were called "Douyuan Sanjie".

The eldest son, Chen Zhenfang, joined the Longgao Rebellion at the age of 12 and participated in the Seventh National Congress of the Communist Party of China as a representative of the Minjiang Working Committee at the age of 20. In 1939, the program went north to Yan'an, and later participated in the battle to liberate the northeast. It was not until the 1980s that he returned to Fujian as the secretary of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee.

After Chen Zhenfang left her hometown, Xia Shuqiong sent her second son, Chen Zhenxian, who had just become an adult, into the anti-Japanese guerrillas. Chen Zhenxian did not live up to his mother's expectations, firmly moved forward in the thorny road, and never engaged in special. In 1941, the leaders of various guerrilla groups gathered together to select death squads to go to Langwei Port to ambush the Japanese army, and the organization originally considered that Chen Zhenfang had not yet returned from the north, and did not allow Chen Zhenxian to join the death squad. However, Chen Zhenxian insisted on participating in the battle, and he was calm and courageous, and heroically completed the task.

In 1947, Chen Zhenxian was unfortunately betrayed by traitors and arrested. In the face of dozens of severe interrogations, he has always been calm and calm, and his eyebrows are cold. In prison, he did not forget to propagate the revolutionary principles to the guards, and used his blood and will to condense them into revolutionary flowers. After Chen Zhenxian's sacrifice, Xia Shuqiong's younger son and two daughters still firmly followed the party.

Xia Shuqiong's granddaughter Xiaoming told reporters that every time she visited her third uncle Chen Zhenliang, he always said: "I started transmitting information to the guerrillas when I was 9 years old. ”

On August 16, 1949, Chen Zhenliang, who began working for the party at the age of 9, was already the leader of the guerrilla group, and he led the guerrillas and cooperated with the main force of the People's Liberation Army to liberate Fuqing County, and planted the red flag on the gate tower of the Fuqing County Government!

"I come from a revolutionary family"

The red spirit stretches endlessly

"When I was a child, I heard your grandmother tell revolutionary stories!" Almost all of Wang Xiaoming's Fuqing companions had said this to her. It turned out that after liberation, Xia Shuqiong, who was more than half a hundred years old, still struggled in the front line of women's work, and after retirement, she also went deep into various primary and secondary schools in Fuqing to preach revolutionary stories.

What Wang Xiaoming did not expect was that his young grandson Chen Yuda, who was studying in Shanghai, passed on this revolutionary story of Fuzhou to Shanghai. A childish "I come from a revolutionary family" made Wang Xiaoming feel a thousand emotions, "The little grandson always likes to listen to me talk about the red stories of that year, but he did not expect that he remembered them in his heart and became a communicator." ”

Wang Xiaoming's mother, Chen Huiming, and his eldest aunt Chen Huirong both met their husbands in the revolutionary ranks, and the strength of the revolutionary family gradually grew, and the revolutionary spirit was also passed on to the next generation.

"My mother Chen Huiming and father Wang Yiping were low-key, and from an early age they taught us to be diligent and earnest, and if we could work for the party one more day, we would work one more day." The teachings of her parents influenced Wang Xiaoming's life, and she became the first patent lawyer in Fujian Province through her own efforts, continuing to contribute to the motherland where her ancestors dedicated their lives.

Now, she guards this red flame and continues to pass it on to future generations, and the red spirit of the revolutionary family continues to be endless.
