Tesla rights female car owners talk about New Year's resolutions: don't postpone the judgment, don't raise different views to personal attacks

According to media reports, Tesla recently officially sued the auto self-media "Xiao gang senior" with tens of millions of fans.

From April 29 to 30, 2021, "Xiaogang Senior" has released two "Tesla Model3 automatic emergency brake test" videos, respectively, using paper cars and inflatable dummies to "test" the emergency braking function of the vehicle, and the final "test" results are that Tesla Model3 "can't brake" and crash into paper cars and dummies. The time of the video release is the hot period of discussion on the topic of "Tesla brake failure".

At the Shanghai International Auto Show ten days ago, Tesla Motors advocated that the lady wearing clothes printed with the words "brake failure" stood on the roof of the exhibition car to defend her rights. According to the Qingpu Branch of the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau, Zhang was sentenced to five days of administrative detention for disturbing public order.

The following month, Ms. Zhang and her husband filed a civil complaint with the Beiguan District People's Court in Anyang City, Henan Province. Ms. Zhang claimed that Tesla and its vice president Tao Lin infringed on her personal reputation rights, and the Tesla side repeatedly made statements contrary to the facts such as "the owner has a team to assist in defending his rights and demanding high compensation" without any evidence.

On December 24, 2021, Ms. Zhang sued Tesla (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Tesla Motors (Beijing) Co., Ltd., and Tao Lin, global vice president of Tesla Company, over the right to reputation dispute, and the court did not pronounce the judgment in court.

As the New Year approached, Ms. Zhang told Jiupai News that after the first confrontation with Tesla, the lawsuit has not yet made specific progress, and she hopes that there will be a verdict within the trial deadline in April 2022, and the judgment will not be postponed.

For Tesla's lawsuit against tens of millions of fans of Internet celebrities, Ms. Zhang told Jiupai News that her friend forwarded the news to her, but she felt that she did not know the truth of the matter, but more comments, who is right and who is wrong, are rational.

She also mentioned that prosecution is a legal right that everyone has. "It's normal for people to have different views, there is no need to rise to personal attacks and hurt each other because of different views, there is no point."

Dialogue with Ms. Zhang

Nine Factions News: Is there any new development in the right to reputation case that went to trial in December?

Ms. Zhang: There is no very specific advance in this case. Two cases about Tesla's driving data, I submitted them to the court in July 2021, and some time ago I was notified to go through some formalities. I haven't been there yet because of the epidemic, but I'll talk to the court staff again in the next few days.

Nine Faction News: Will the new year continue to advance?

Ms. Zhang: Definitely, or do you want to find out the truth and give an explanation to the public who are concerned about this matter. My case was a trial deadline in April 2022, that is, the court will give a verdict before April, and I am also anxiously waiting.

After the Spring Festival, I will continue to work on this matter, and I plan to make another voice and release some of the information I have compiled at hand.

Nine Factions News: What are you doing right now?

Ms. Zhang: For the past year, I have been busy with the work of defending my rights, and I have not been able to spend time with my parents and family. The Spring Festival is coming, and I want to put away these things that I have in my hands to defend my rights, go home for the festival, and spend a good time with my parents.

Nine Schools News: What are you looking forward to in the New Year?

Ms. Zhang: My first wish is that the case of the right to reputation that has already been heard can get the verdict as scheduled, and there will be no postponement or postponement. The remaining lawsuits will continue to advance in the Year of the Tiger, but they will adjust their mentality and live their lives well.

In 2021, there are too many things to understand, in learning and groping, burying their heads in lawsuits, Zhengzhou and Beijing are running around, and it really takes a lot of energy. Now that I have the direction of safeguarding rights, my second wish is to take care of my life and take good care of my family while fighting a good lawsuit.

Nine Faction News: What do you think about Tesla's lawsuit against tens of millions of fans?

Ms. Zhang: I don't know the truth about Tesla's lawsuit against "Xiao Gang Senior", so I don't comment too much, I am personally neutral. Since Tesla filed a lawsuit, the truth is more and more clear, and it is all taken to the court to say well, who is right and who is wrong, we all look at it rationally.

Nine Factions News: How do you view the public opinion that is still fierce?

Ms. Zhang: Whether you support me or not, it is normal for people to have different views, there is no need to rise to personal attacks and mutual harm because of different views, there is no point.

I also understand that people who don't support me, like some Tesla owners who haven't had an accident, definitely think that my advocacy has affected their use of the car. But if this or something similar happens to some car owner who is now using Tesla without an accident, he is in my position, and he will probably understand me if the role is changed.

Today he didn't touch this thing, I met it, and then I said it out and found out why it happened. If the safety hazard does not exist, then his car will certainly be more assured and bolder; if it exists, the possibility of dangerous situations can be avoided. I think this rights protection is meaningful to the owners of the car who have not had an accident, provided that everyone can think like this.

I was also a Tesla fan before it happened, and I felt that the brand I chose to buy a car was the best. If it weren't for the fact that my family had been hurt, I wouldn't have denied my original choice. I spent hundreds of thousands of dollars, I was not protected, I was not respected, and the mental journey of every rights defender itself was very difficult.
