The Spring Festival is a good time to visit museums and see new exhibitions. In the special exhibition hall on the first floor of Changzhou Museum, a joint exhibition of pictures of cultural relics of the Tiger Tiger Shengfu - Nongyin New Year Zodiac is on display, and the exhibition will last until March 13.
Changzhou Museum to see the exhibition
The exhibition is divided into three parts, with hundreds of pictures of cultural relics and artworks crowdfunded by China Cultural Relics Newspaper and more than 50 cultural and expo institutions. The first part, "Tiger Leaping Ten Thousand Years – Tigers in the Natural World," introduces the evolution of tigers, their range, and the current status of endangered and protected wild tigers around the world. The second part, "Tigers in the East - Tigers in History and Culture", interprets the unique tiger culture of the Chinese nation seen in the cultural relics through the rich pictures of tiger elements and cultural relics collected by various cultural institutions, from the four angles of "Chinese Sacred Beasts", "Tiger Town Bafang", "Linghu Nafu" and "Tiger Shaped into Paintings". The third part, "Tigers In the World - Tigers in Folk Life", is accompanied by pictures of various tiger relics, which introduce the legends and customs related to tigers, as well as the folklore implications of tiger images to drive away evil spirits and pray for blessings.
