This time, the "new" is the Sanxingdui bronze mask.
It is 131 cm wide, 71 cm high, 66 cm deep and weighs 131 pounds, making it the largest and well-preserved large bronze mask known to have been excavated at the Sanxingdui site.

Pit No. 3 also unearthed a bronze sacred tree, which is believed by many to be the prototype of Fuso in the Classic of Mountains and Seas.

Three bronze kneeling figures were found in the No. 4 sacrifice pit, and archaeologists believe that the kneeling portraits show that there was realistic sculpture art in ancient Shu more than 3,000 years ago.

Recently, the Sanxingdui "blind box" has been newly upgraded, and a bronze dragon tiger "divine beast" with a tiger's head and tiger brain was found in the No. 8 sacrifice pit. This "divine beast" has double horns on its head, a golden-bottomed tabby patterned beast body, and a half-dragon and half-tiger.
Experts said: "Sanxingdui has previously appeared in the shape of a dragon, but this is the first time that it has appeared in this volume and in a circular carving. Now there is still a lot of soil on the surface of the cultural relics that has not been cleaned, and I believe that it will be very gorgeous after cleaning up. ”
