Update on the situation of the novel coronavirus pneumonia as of 24:00 on January 30

From January 30 to 24:00, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 58 new confirmed cases. Among them, there were 18 imported cases (10 cases in Shanghai, 7 cases in Guangdong, and 1 case in Fujian), including 3 cases from asymptomatic infected people to confirmed cases (all in Guangdong); 40 local cases (24 cases in Zhejiang, all in Hangzhou; 11 cases in Tianjin, including 8 cases in Hebei District and 3 cases in Binhai New Area; 3 cases in Beijing, including 2 cases in Fengtai District and 1 case in Chaoyang District; 1 case in Heilongjiang, in Mudanjiang City; 1 case in Henan, in Ruzhou City), including 1 case from an asymptomatic infected person to a confirmed case (in Henan). There were no new deaths. There were 3 new suspected cases, all of which were imported from abroad (all in Shanghai).

On the same day, 147 new cured and discharged cases were cured, 3721 close contacts were released from medical observation, and the severe cases were the same as the previous day.

There are 868 confirmed cases (including 1 severe case) imported from overseas, and 4 suspected cases. The cumulative number of confirmed cases is 12,565, the cumulative number of cured and discharged cases is 11,697, and there are no deaths.

As of 24:00 on January 30, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are 1,937 confirmed cases (including 10 severe cases), 99,500 cured and discharged cases, 4,636 cumulative deaths, 106073 confirmed cases and 4 suspected cases. A total of 1522986 close contacts have been traced, and 38,879 close contacts are still under medical observation.

31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 52 new cases of asymptomatic infection, of which 48 cases were imported from abroad and 4 cases were local (all in Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province); 4 cases were turned into confirmed cases on the same day (3 cases imported from abroad); 36 cases were released from medical observation on the same day (all imported from abroad); and 812 asymptomatic infected people were still under medical observation (687 cases imported from abroad).

A total of 32,493 confirmed cases were reported from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, there were 13,679 cases in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (12,753 cases discharged from hospital, 213 deaths), 79 cases in Macao Special Administrative Region (79 cases discharged from hospital), and 18,735 cases in Taiwan Region (13,742 cases discharged from hospital, 851 deaths).
