People's Daily Moscow, January 30 (Reporter Rong Yi) Chopsticks sandwich sugar, spell Chinese characters, make lanterns... On January 29, nearly 50 Chinese and Russian children and parents gathered at the China-Russia Humanities Cooperation and Development Center to participate in a unique New Year celebration of the Tiger.

Dalia, a Russian Chinese teacher at the center, introduced the traditional cultural customs of the Spring Festival to the Russian children through videos and pictures, and deepened the children's understanding of the traditional Chinese festivals through interactive questions. "What does nian mean in Chinese?" "Why do Chinese love to wear red for the New Year?" Faced with one question after another about the knowledge of traditional Chinese culture, many Russian children answered the questions like a stream, and compared the 12 zodiac pictures, accurately said their zodiac signs with Chinese.
