Chopsticks, as an important symbol of Chinese food culture, carry profound historical and cultural connotations. On May 18, the "Red Collection, Chopsticks and Seals Exhibition" was opened at the District Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center, allowing more citizens to understand the long-standing chopsticks culture in the mainland.
Twist-shaped silver chopsticks, sandalwood chopsticks with hidden wood grain, and shiny jade chopsticks...... In the exhibition hall, a pair of chopsticks made of different materials, different lengths and different characteristics, showing the history of the Chinese nation's food culture, amazed the audience.
The reporter learned that in this exhibition, in addition to the chopsticks using a variety of materials and modern chopstick-making technology, there are also chopsticks carving, painting and other works of art, which fully demonstrate the artistic charm of chopsticks. "I didn't expect the little chopsticks to have so many stories and so many looks, it's really interesting." Ms. Huang, a citizen, said.
It is reported that the exhibition is open to the public free of charge and will last until May 30, and some seals and red reading materials are also displayed in the exhibition, bringing a richer experience to the public.
