Shijiazhuang, January 29 (Xinhua) -- More than 800 years ago, after the Jin Dynasty moved its capital to Yanjing (present-day Beijing), it built the "Taihe Palace" in The Chongli Prince City in Zhangjiakou as a palace for royal nomadic archery. Prince City is connected to the Yanjing Mountains and rivers, humanities, and blood veins.

Nowadays, the ruins of Prince Edward City have become the focus of the world because they are located in the core area of the Zhangjiakou Olympic Games, and the past and present lives of this "city" have once again been explored by the world.
In order to cooperate with the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, since 2017, Hebei Province has organized a joint archaeological team of provinces and municipalities to carry out archaeological excavations at the site of Zhangjiakou Prince Edward City, thus unveiling this long-sealed history.

With the advancement of archaeological work, a number of important cultural relics such as wadang, dripping water, cylinder tiles, phoenix birds, dragon head ridge ornaments, door nails, iron nails, iron tribulus terrestris, porcelain fragments and so on have been excavated here. At the same time, the excavation of a series of cultural relics such as long plain bricks and grooved square bricks stamped with the word "inner", gray bricks with the words "official" and "palace", small dragon head ornaments with copper gilded gold, Capricorn printed on the inner sole, flowers printed on the inner abdomen, and porcelain pieces engraved with the "Shang Food Bureau" on the outer sole are of great value to the early judgment of the age of the ruins of Prince City.

After that, drainage ditches, city walls, moats, urns, building sites, etc. were excavated one by one, and archaeologists finally judged that the ruins of Prince City were the only city sites with royal nature in Longmen County of the Jin Dynasty, and it was inferred that it was the "Taihe Palace" of Jin Zhangzong's yan Jingxia bowl.
