Selected works "West side of the ancient road"

Gansu, China, January 30, 2022 Sponsored by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the China Artists Association, the 9th China Beijing International Art Biennale recently opened at the China Meimu Museum, and the work "West side of the Ancient Road" created by Gansu Jiuquan author Zhang Jie (female) was selected.

The creative idea of the work "West side of the Ancient Road" mainly takes the Silk Road culture, border plug culture, national culture and historical culture as the starting point, showing the spiritual outlook of ethnic minority figures, meticulously portraying the camel's demeanor and dynamics, and receiving praise in the exhibition.

It is reported that more than 700 works from 117 countries and regions were exhibited, and 208 were selected by China, of which 1 was selected by Gansu.

Zhang Jie, female, from Jiuquan, Gansu. Graduated from the Department of Art Education of Northeast Normal University. He is a member of the Gansu Provincial Artists Association, the Gansu Calligraphers Association, the Gansu Modern Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and the China Petroleum Calligraphers Association. His representative work "Silk Road Song New Chapter" was selected for the 4th National Chinese Painting Exhibition of the Spirit of Sorrow; "Buddha Yin Yougu" was selected for the Chinese Painting Biennale; and his work "West side of the Ancient Road" was selected for the 9th China Beijing International Biennial in 2022 (eligible works for membership).
