Fran recalls the Manchester United dressing room Q&A test: both sides are doing their best I will answer international questions

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of his transfer to Manchester United, Uruguayan star Diego Fran recently gave an exclusive interview to Manchester United. In an interview, he revealed the "quiz test match" that the Red Devils dressing room often holds, and said that he always answers some international questions.

"The great thing I remember is that every time there's a away game in the Champions League, there's always a little test game in the dressing room and I don't know if they're going to play it now. This test is for players against all the staff, the head coach and all the other staff will be on the other side of the dressing room. This is really a war! You can say anything you want to say, and that's really, really interesting. ”

Fran remembers that whenever there was a problem with a slightly more international orientation, everyone's eyes turned to themselves:

"Whenever something common sense, more international, comes up, everybody says, 'Okay, Diego, you have to answer!'" ”

"Some questions I know the answer to, others I don't know!" But usually it's questions about the United Kingdom and England, and they like Giggs, Roy Keane, Gary (Neville), and Nicky Butt will come forward to answer. And when there's a worldwide problem, they often say, 'Well, you have to answer!' ’”

Fran said it was unclear who won more between the players and the staff, but both sides were ruthless in winning the test.

"Who won? I do not know. A lot of times we [the players] have won and many times they've won. It's a fight! But the head coach... He doesn't want to lose, you know, and the players don't want to be the losing side. So you can imagine all the things we might have said in those battles! ”

Fran also revealed that the intense atmosphere in the test match will even continue into the training sessions in the following days:

"In training sessions, sometimes Ole (Ole Gunnar Solskjaer) would play this with Keane, I would sometimes be their opponent and sometimes side with them. When we lost, Keane would come up to both of us and say it was our fault. He always said it was our fault! ”

"The argument will continue when it comes back to the dressing room. I remember Ole saying, 'Well, Keane, the game is over and we lose, is it my fault?' Okay, but don't yell at me anymore! ’”
