Fran: I learned a lot from Keane, and Gary Neville was very talkative

In an interview with Manchester United's official media, Diego Fran talked about his reunion with his old red devils teammates at the 2018 World Cup, which he said was a very interesting experience, and then said that he had a good relationship with everyone in that locker room.

Fran said: "I was on the scene of the World Cup, and there was a very coincidental thing, a lot of my Manchester United teammates were there at the same time. I remember meeting at the gym one day and I met Phil Neville, Gary Neville, and Giggs. I think Evra was there at the time, I didn't make teammates with him, but I played against him. ”

"It's funny because everyone is in the same dressing room and like when we were players, we worked for different TV channels at the World Cup. I remember that day after a game I was a little tired, I think it was Uruguay against Russia, I don't remember which game it was, and then I was waiting for the elevator and someone patted me on the back and asked me: 'Do you know how I can get back to my room'? ”

"I was thinking: 'I'm in a hotel, who would shoot me with such a lot of force'? I looked back and it was Keane and I was really happy to see him again! It was a great moment, we spent some time there together, we had the opportunity to communicate together and he was a great guy. ”

Fran then said that although he was more closely related to his age-like teammates, that didn't stop him from thinking Keane was an extraordinary presence. Fran went on to say: "When I was younger, I had a very good relationship with O'Shea and Wes Brown because we were on the bench most of the time. ”

"We were on the bench with Phil Neville, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and everybody who came after that. But roy Keane has been a great captain throughout my career and I've learned a lot from him, of course, he's a little loud and he's going to be a little noisy because he's yelling all the time. ”

Later, Fran talked about some of his other teammates, adding: "The other guy who always talks a lot and keeps talking is Gary Neville, who loves to talk. Then there's Giggs, who's also a very interesting guy, and as for Scholes, he's quiet sometimes. ”

"But you know, he's the kind of quiet guy, but sometimes, he's not that quiet either!" It's really funny because in that dressing room you have different personalities, but everyone is great people and we all enjoy it. We're winning and coach Ferguson has a great personality. ”

"He knows everybody on that team, he's really a really great guy, those moments are really, really good, you know, everybody out there has their own personality and everybody is different, but I've had a great relationship with all of them."
