Ideal Car's Patent for Falling water escape is granted: Delay the sinking process and increase the chance of survival

Driving China's News on January 29, 2022, the Qichacha App shows that a few days ago, Beijing Chehejia Information Technology Co., Ltd., an affiliate of Ideal Automobile, obtained the patent authorization of "Vehicle Falling Water Escape Device and Vehicle".

The abstract shows that the vehicle falling water escape device provided in the present disclosure embodiment includes: airbags, gas generators, detection units and controllers, air bags are provided in the body; the gas generator is connected to the air bags; the detection unit is used to detect whether the vehicle falls into the water; the controller is connected to the gas generator and the detection unit, respectively, for controlling the gas generator according to the detection signal transmitted by the detection unit.

When the vehicle falls into the water, the detection unit transmits the information of the detected vehicle falling into the water to the controller, and the controller controls the gas generator to inflate the air bag.

The inflated airbag can hold the vehicle on the surface of the water, delaying the process of the vehicle sinking, increasing the time of escape and the chance of survival.
