Live Bar Jan. 28 , Last offseason , the Lakers were going to trade Kings shooter Buddy Hield , but eventually traded point guard Westbrook from the Wizards. According to Yahoo Sports star Chris Haynes, the Lakers contacted the King to exchange Tucker and other chips for Hield, but the King declined.
Haynes revealed on the show: "Multiple sources in the league said the Lakers have contacted the Kings to discuss a deal to trade Talon Horton Tucker (+ other chips) for Hield. [The Lakers] are still trying to make the deal happen. Obviously the king's attitude was, 'No, we feel there are more favorable deals in the market.' The king would continue to be active and there were a lot of people calling them (asking for a price). ”
So far this season, Hield has averaged 14.9 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists per game; Tucker has averaged 10 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.
