Before this year's trade deadline, the Pacers are arguably one of the most active teams in the league, sending off several veteran players through trades and trading them back for future assets, which also means that the Pacers are teams that want to fully enter the rebuilding phase in the coming season.
Then, in this offseason, the Pacers should undoubtedly continue to put some players on the shelves and exchange them for players and assets that are more favorable for the future. But what kind of deals are they likely to push for this offseason? The advice given by US media Kenneth Tip is to promote a deal with the Nets involving Ben Simmons:

Such a deal wouldn't actually do the Pacers much of a deal, and even if Ben Simmons still has a very good player and a promising player, he won't be the type of player who can be the team's superstar, at least in terms of personality.
In contrast, the Nets can get a historic boost in this deal, and the addition of Miles Turner can significantly improve the Nets' ability to defend and open up space, not to mention how comfortable a shooter like Hield can play when partnering Durant and Irving, and even the Nets can get the second round pick in 2022 in this deal.
That said, the Pacers got Ben Simmons in no good return, and the Nets could make a lot of money in such a deal.
