On January 27, Dali Municipal People's Government and Mushroom Chelian Information Technology Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly build an autonomous driving eco-tourism demonstration zone around the Erhai Sea. With a total investment of 1 billion yuan, the Mushroom Vehicle Association will upgrade and construct a new infrastructure of intelligent network connection and vehicle-road coordination on the entire section of the Erhai Ecological Corridor (136 kilometers), and successively launch autonomous tourist sightseeing vehicles, shuttle buses, garbage sweepers, patrol cars and other related autonomous vehicles during the construction period, to create a "vehicle-road cloud integration" system that includes road information perception, vehicle-road information interaction, road-cloud information transmission and other functions.
The project plans to build the Erhai Autonomous Driving Eco-tourism Demonstration Zone into the first "intelligent network + smart tourism" ecological demonstration area in southwest China.
Mushroom Car Union has industry-leading autonomous driving full-stack technology, and has the ability to operate large-scale autonomous public travel and public service fleets. Its autonomous driving projects have been landed and tested in Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Hunan, Henan and other cities, with a cumulative signed amount of more than 2 billion yuan.
