PCIe 5.0 SSDs still have to wait for half a year! Ten Quan added read more than 13GB/s

The new era of PCIe 5.0 SSDs is slowly opening, and products are gradually emerging, but it will take a long time to go and become popular.

Today, Shiquan announced its first PCIe 5.0 SSD, which belongs to the high-end T-FORCE CARDEA series.

According to the information disclosed so far, this SSD uses the standard M.2 2280 form, covering a large zigzag heat sink, with a maximum capacity of 4TB, a sequential read speed of up to more than 13GB/s, and a sequential write of up to more than 12GB/s.

Although the reading is not as good as the 14GB/s of Weigang and others, the write speed is still the top level.

Technically, it also supports the next-generation NVMe 2.0 protocol.

Ten Quan said it will mass-produce the PCIe 5.0 SSD in the third quarter of this year. At that time, the AMD Zen4 architecture, which also supports PCIe 5.0, was also released.
