In order to promote the implementation of reading for the whole people and provide reference for book selection, on the afternoon of January 26, the 2021 annual good book list release conference of the "Public Good Book List" guided by the Nanjing Municipal Reading Promotion Association for the Whole People was held at Jinling Library.
At the press conference, the organizers unveiled the list of 50 good books in 2021 of the "Popular Good Book List", including 7 books of theme publishing, 14 books of humanities and social sciences, 17 books of literature and art, 5 books of popular science life, and 7 books of children's literature. It is worth mentioning that this year's good book list pays special attention to works on the centenary of the founding of the Party, the historical memory of Nanjing, the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, and "Changjin Lake".
According to the staff, the selection of the list mainly refers to factors such as readers' preferences, current hot spots, actual sales of stores, publishing houses and key recommendations in the industry. At the same time, bookstores will carry out offline reading activities to let the public feel the charm of reading in an all-round way. Not only that, in order to promote the reading of all ages, in the 2022 annual list, the organizers will also add a separate "children's literature" list.
Miao Bingwen, founder of Jiangsu Dazhong Bookstore Book Culture Co., Ltd., said: "Since January 1 this year, our country's Family Education Promotion Law has been officially implemented, which is the first time to legislate on family education. We hope that through the separate list of children's good books, we can promote children's reading and family reading. ”
The staff told reporters that in the future, the selection of the "Public Good Book List" will also closely follow the characteristics of the "World Literary Capital" and the famous historical and cultural city, and more deeply and comprehensively understand the reading habits of readers. At the same time, we will continue to expand the scope of use of the list, promote a series of reading activities to enter the grassroots, and create an atmosphere of reading for the whole people.
