About the Author

Lin Huanzhang, born in 1939, is a native of Yilan County, Taiwan Province. Gong Yunpeng was the art director of Tsinghua Advertising Agency and the art director of Cathay/Ogilvy Advertising Agency. Luo Qing, real name Luo Qingzhe, a native of Xiangtan, Hunan, was born in 1948 in Qingdao, Shandong, graduated from the Department of Chinese of Fu Jen University and the Institute of Comparative Literature of Washington State University in Seattle, USA; he was a professor of the English Department, the Fine Arts Department, and the Institute of Translation Research of Taiwan Normal University, and concurrently served as the director of the Chinese Chinese Dialect Culture Center, the editor-in-chief of the Canghai Art Series of dongda Bookstore; and later the director of the English Department and the director of the art center of Mingdao University.

The poems have been translated into English, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, Czech, Japanese, Korean, Swedish and other 14 Chinese and published, and have won the First Modern Poetry Creation Award in Taipei and the Rotterdam International Poetry Prize.
