Break into Apple's supply chain! Domestic screen iPhone or blowout in the future: more than one BOE

According to media reports, the current iPhone 12/13 series of mobile phones have three Apple suppliers, the magnitude from large to small are Samsung, LG and BOE, of which BOE only supplies a small part of the 6.1-inch standard version of OLED.

However, BOE's entry into Apple's supply chain is actually very early, and Apple Watch has long used domestic panels.

Elec's latest news said that China's second largest screen manufacturer CSOT (Huaxing Optoelectronics) has set up a team to evaluate and verify the production line for the iPhone to supply OLED panels. It is said that the Huaxing photoelectric panel that Apple inspected for the first time came from the Wuhan T4 factory.

According to the data, T4 can manufacture six generations of flexible OLED, with a panel size of 1500x1850mm, and a monthly production capacity of 45,000 substrates after the three-stage production.

However, taking BOE as an example, before successfully supplying the iPhone, Apple's evaluation failed more than once, so it is foreseeable that Huaxing Optoelectronics will need a considerable period of effort to finally break in.
