The 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary was the first time that the Jamaican Snow Team stood on the stage of the Winter Olympics. The four young men who participated in the competition usually did not have many opportunities to practice snowmobiling, and one of them was temporarily pulled because of the number of people, and the training time was only a short week; and the four-person snowmobile they drove was even a second-hand car.
Due to lack of preparation, the Jamaican Snow Team was still in a car accident while cornering, losing control at high speed and rolling over the track at speeds of more than 100 kilometers per hour. Due to inertia, the players' heads scraped the ice wall all the way, but fortunately, with the protection of helmets, life was not a big problem.
However, the most surprising thing for everyone was that the Jamaican team members endured the pain, struggled to get up, and carried the snowmobile to the finish line.
