As an athlete, Wang Meng not only has strong strength, but also shows excellent team leadership ability. In the final month of preparations for the 2010 Winter Olympics, Liu Qiuhong, the number two main player of the Chinese short track speed skating team, was suddenly injured while training in Shanghai. But Wang Meng still led her teammates to the gold medal at the Winter Olympics.
The success of Wang Meng's generation of athletes at the Vancouver Winter Olympics also made up for the regrets of the previous athletes, Li Jiajun, Yang Yang, An Yulong and others in the Olympic arena.
