According to the local epidemic prevention and control requirements in Zimbabwe, all team members need to be isolated for 2 weeks. Before departure and during the quarantine period, the medical team members have not been idle, and regular health lectures are held in two 500-person Chinese health groups, and team members are arranged to quickly answer health questions raised in the group 24 hours a day. It has been widely praised by the embassy, the Economic and Commercial Office and the overseas Chinese. The medical team members will officially enter the designated hospital to carry out medical assistance work after the end of the isolation period, and the team members said that this kind of health lecture and consultation meeting has been insisted on doing it, online and offline at the same time, and has been escorting the health of compatriots in Tianjin.
The 19th batch of 11 members of China's medical team to aid Zimbabwe were selected by the Hunan Provincial Health Commission, and the team members covered traditional Chinese medicine, internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, orthopedics, radiology, anesthesiology and other specialties. Among them, there are 3 doctors of medicine and 7 masters of medicine. They will provide health services to the local population of Zimbabwe and provide support to the national health care system. In addition, the medical team will also be responsible for the routine health care services of the high-level Government of Zimbabwe, and will assist the Chinese Embassy in Zimbabwe to do a good job in providing health services for Chinese citizens in Zimbabwe and providing guidance on epidemic prevention and control.
