At this year's CES show, some rather impressive new technologies and new cars were unveiled. For example, the color-changing BMW iX, Chrysler's Airflow and so on. Bugatti also followed suit, launching an electric car at the show. But don't expect too much ~ this car is not what you think.

Bugatti has partnered with Bytech to launch an all-electric foldable scooter designed for everyday use. Available in three colors, blue, silver and black, the scooter weighs just 35 pounds (15.9 kg) and is powered by a 700-watt electric motor.

Designed to be aerodynamic and fully functional, the scooter supports a portable and easily removable battery pack with a magnesium alloy frame. It has a range of up to 22 miles (about 34 km) on a single charge and a speed of up to 18.5 miles per hour (about 30 km/h). There are three driving modes – Economy, City and Sport – and even cruise control.

We were surprised to find that the scooter uses a dual braking system with electronic ABS on the rear wheels, which is uncommon on scooters. The electric two-wheeler also comes with turn signals, a illuminated base and a "EB" projection logo at the rear ( i.e. Ettore Bugatti ) to enhance the car's artistic style and performance.

It is worth mentioning that this is not the first electric Bugatti, but it is the first two-wheeled electric Bugatti. We tested the Bugatti Baby II back in 2020, and it has a peak output of 13.4 horsepower (10 kW) and a top speed of 42 mph (about 70 km/h), but it has four wheels.
