In the southwest of the ancient town ruins, archaeologists found an ancient well here, according to the investigation, this is a Song Dynasty well, although it has been filled with soil, but please clearly see the traces of use of that year.

After the experts cleaned up all the soil in this ancient well, the groundwater began to be refilled, although the water level was very low, but it also surprised the experts. In the Song Dynasty, wells were very common, but most of them were earth and stone structures, but such exquisite pure masonry wells were still very rare, and there were also the names of craftsmen on the masonry. In the Song Dynasty, most of these construction methods appeared in official governments or temples.

So the archaeologists immediately began to consult the information and found that this was once a place called Longping Temple. The experts explored here for six years, and finally cleared out the entire ruins of Longping Temple, and found the entrance to the underground palace in the base of the pagoda, the reason why they were so persistent about this underground palace was because there may be buried here the most precious treasure of the Buddhist family, and the final result did not disappoint the experts.

The shape of this underground palace is very similar to the tower above, with a similar structure, experts after opening the underground palace, the first to see a large number of copper coins, from the Han Dynasty to the Song Dynasty there are more than 10,000 coins, witnessing the continuous evolution of coins of several dynasties. And in this underground palace, there is also a treasure letter, inside and outside four layers, and the innermost, is a copper bottle, and among them, there are 4 Buddha relics, and this record is also very in line with the historical data, the discovery of this relic also directly confirms that the historical records of the Qinglong are all true, and this Longping Temple has also become a landmark for experts to excavate Qinglong Town.
