Xinmin Evening News (reporter Jiang Yan) Recently, the Qin Shi Huang Emperor Mausoleum Museum announced the new harvest of excavation in 2021, archaeologists excavated and cleaned the north burial road and two funerary pits on the west side of the QinLing Tomb (QLCM1) and carried out indoor restoration of excavated cultural relics including pottery, bronze ware and small pieces of utensils, etc. Since 2013, the Qin Shi Huang Emperor Mausoleum Museum has carried out continuous excavations of the funerary tomb "No. 1 Tomb" on the west side of the Qin Tomb, and a large number of pottery, bronze and gold dance sleeve figurines, gold and silver camels have been excavated, Silver Hounds and other gold and silver bronze figurines.

In 2021, archaeologists excavated the north burial tunnel and two burial pits of this tomb, and repaired some of the excavated cultural relics, there are 3 funerary pits of "Tomb No. 1", of which one of the burial pits in the south has been excavated before, and the two funerary pits in the north are located on the east side of the north burial road, there are robbery holes, one of the funerary pits is piled with a large number of pottery pieces, and the other funerary pit has found the cap hat and other objects, archaeologists have now restored complete artifacts: golden camel, silver camel, golden dancing sleeve figurines, Copper flat pots inlaid with glass, jade dings, silver hounds, etc.

As a large funerary tomb near the mausoleum of The First Emperor of Qin, this tomb has 3 chariot and horse burial pits, excavated 15 chimes in groups, and a large number of small music and dance, animals and other images of gold, silver and bronze figurines, this series of archaeological results prove that the owner of the "No. 1 Tomb" has a noble status and a high status.

Recently, there have also been new discoveries in the archaeology of Yin Ruins. The Anyang Task Force of the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences announced that archaeologists had newly explored 2 ditches and more than 400 sacrificial pits in and around the Tomb of the Shang King of YinXu on the north bank of the Huan River in Anyang, Henan. Among them, the east and west weigou are 40 meters apart, both around the periphery of the Yin Shang Tomb, which is likely to be related to the Shang King's Mausoleum. The number of newly discovered sacrificial pits is more than 400, and the shape is basically the same as that of the Yin Ruins period excavated by previous archaeological excavations. Niu Shishan, a researcher at the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said that the new discoveries have changed the previous understanding of the pattern of the Shang King's Mausoleum and will promote the study of the Shang Dynasty mausoleum system and even the Shang culture and Shang history. Archaeological exploration is still ongoing.
