We recently obtained a set of patented pictures of the Land Rover Defender 130 model, and according to Jaguar Land Rover Chief Financial Officer Adrian Mardell, the new car is scheduled to be officially launched in August this year. At the same time, the new car will also share the same power combination of the Land Rover Defender 110, and will be equipped with 2.0T gasoline, 3.0T light mix and 5.0L V8 supercharged engine, the transmission system will match the 8-speed manual transmission, and equipped with a four-wheel drive system.
The overall styling design of the Land Rover Defender 130 model is consistent with that of the 110 model, with an upper and lower split air intake grille on the front face, a double round LED headlight set on both sides to further enhance the legibility of the model, and a high-flow air intake air outlet with a raised shape above the cabin canopy. The body side is expected to be equipped with blackened multi-spoke aluminum alloy wheels, and the size has fully surpassed the BMW X5 model, and is comparable to the Mercedes-Benz GLS, BMW X7, lexus LX models.
The Land Rover Defender 130 has a concealed exhaust layout at the rear, and a small schoolbag-style external spare tire is provided above the tailgate. In the interior part, the new car will be consistent with the interior of the 90 and 110 models of the product sequence, equipped with a four-spoke multi-function steering wheel, and equipped with an LCD instrument and an embedded LCD central control screen, and an electronic gear shift mechanism is also provided below.
