The black earth is perfumed with fragrance throughout the four seasons
Everyone has an unspeakable emotion for their hometown, that is, the happiness that will be intoxicated when they smell the fragrance of the earth, and the memories that will be evoked by hearing the familiar rural sounds. When I was a child, I looked forward to leaving my hometown, and I always thought that the outside world was wonderful, but when I walked through many places, saw a lot of scenery, and looked back, I found that what we loved most was our hometown.
As a native of Heilongjiang, I had the privilege of coming to Sixin Village in Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province, while filming the "Remember Nostalgia" rural revitalization series. When the plane landed slowly, my heart was already full of expectations, and the beautiful fields outside the window, the waves of rice surged and the vitality of the black earth appeared in front of my eyes.
Sixin Village is a typical northeast village, a series of blue-roofed and white-walled brick houses, with strong northeastern characteristics, every family in the spacious courtyard, there must be a vegetable garden, a small vegetable garden can meet the daily life needs of a family. When you come to the northeast as a guest, the host will definitely pick a large pot of fresh melons and fruits, and warmly invite guests from afar to taste. The enthusiasm of the people of the Northeast comes from the history of breaking into the Kanto, in the past, people used "sixty miles as a neighbor, thirty miles north and south Kang" to describe the sparsely populated "Northern Wilderness".
In the 1950s, many farmers in Shandong and Hebei, with their desire for land, packed their bags, left their hometowns, and came to this vast black land, and the first generation of four newcomers took this vigor and hoeed and ploughed this wasteland into a beautiful village today.
In the village history museum of Sixin Village, that period of history is recorded. What I remember most is the countless firsts in the village history museum, the four new people in the early 1980s, the first tractor, which contributed to the reclamation of wasteland. In the sun, the tractor is quietly displayed in front of the village history museum, through which we seem to be able to hear the roaring history whistling by. The names of the first doctor, the first college student, the first rice technician, these former entrepreneurs, are also remembered by the four newcomers.
Sixin Village has witnessed the development of the northeast countryside, and it is precisely because there are many villages like Sixin on the black land that today's Heilongjiang can become a major agricultural province to ensure national food security, Chinese 1 in every 9 bowls of rice comes from Heilongjiang.
Northeasterners have a word called "cat winter", which means cold winter, people hide at home and do not go out. After the autumn harvest every year, the weather gradually becomes cooler, the land cannot be cultivated, and the cold climate restricts people's development, so the four newcomers find a way out, that is, to develop the shed economy.
Today's Sixin Village, there are 135 fruit and vegetable greenhouses, harvest season, tourists flock endlessly. But when the shed was first built, the villagers encountered many problems. Without funds, they borrowed money from the bank, without technology, they went out to learn technology, in the first few years, the villagers suffered a lot of losses because of their lack of experience, but now when it comes to the events of that year, optimistic northeasterners will say: "Just do it, think about what can be done so much." ”
With that optimism and open-mindedness, the villagers spent more than 3 years to usher in the first harvest of fruits and vegetables in the greenhouse. However, due to the lack of sales experience, melons, fruits and vegetables are not cared for, the villagers huddled together to warm up the market, this experience also let the four newcomers understand that only good quality can have good sales.
The villagers returned to the village to study ways to improve the quality of melons and fruits, and they invited scientific and technological personnel to guide planting techniques and turn extensive planting into refined management. Eventually, the melons and fruits became sweeter and the villagers sold better and better. Nowadays, more and more young people are returning to their hometowns to create rural tourism by relying on green waters and green mountains.
During our filming, another villagers' meeting was held in Sixin Village, where they discussed the future development of the village. I am also proud of my hometown, this black land in the northeast has created many miracles for more than 100 years, on the road to rural revitalization, as long as there is the hard work of breaking into the Kanto, as long as more and more people return to their hometowns, the countryside in the northeast will get better and better.
