Beijing, January 20 (China News Network) -- Springer Nature released news to the media on the 20th that after the cooperative publication of four academic journals such as Autonomous Intelligent Systems, Springer Nature and Tongji University once again joined hands to sign a contract to create Frontiers of Urban and Rural Planning and "Frontiers of Urban and Rural Planning" and "Frontiers of Urban and Rural Planning" on the same day. Architectural Intelligence is two international academic journals.
So far, Springer Nature, a world-renowned academic publishing institution, has cooperated with Chinese universities, scientific research institutions and societies to establish nearly 200 academic journals, becoming the most important partner of Chinese scientific and technological journals to enhance their international influence.

According to Springer Nature, his global and local team of professionals will continue to provide advice and support to the two journals newly signed and co-organized by the latest editors in terms of publication and editorial standards and journal development, and both new journals will be double-blind peer-reviewed and expected to be officially published in 2022. In addition, both International Journals in English are published in open access format, and articles are freely readable and accessible to all once published.
Frontiers of Urban and Rural Spatial Planning focuses on original research papers, technologies and cases in various fields of urban and rural planning, as well as innovation and multidisciplinary research to promote the well-being and sustainable development of urban and rural people through integrated spatial planning methods. The journal covers the historical wisdom of urban and rural development, spatial distribution characteristics, planning practices, cutting-edge science and technology and innovative design, smart city construction, habitat governance, sustainable development strategy and other topics. Wu Zhiqiang, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and professor of Tongji University, will serve as the editor-in-chief.
Guided by architectural design thinking, "Building Intelligence" focuses on the research of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies throughout the life cycle of buildings, and is committed to building research methods supported by scientific evidence, reconstructing the knowledge system of building science, creating an international academic platform for interdisciplinary disciplines, and establishing a new paradigm of sustainable development. Professor Feng Yuan, School of Architecture and Urban Planning, Tongji University, will serve as editor-in-chief.
