It is the Anyuan Road Bridge under construction. According to the Municipal Transportation Commission, the Anyuan Road Bridge will be completed and opened to traffic in 2022, which will provide a suitable public space for the public.

The full name of this project is "Anyuan Road Across suzhou river bridge new construction project", with a total length of 252 meters, which is a pedestrian landscape bridge and takes into account the implementation of non-motorized vehicles. "We combine the support structure and the cable structure, and the bridge body forms a very distinctive C-shaped shape, and its bridge body floats over the Suzhou Creek, forming a link between the two banks and creating a unique landscape over the Suzhou Creek." The builder said.
While using ingenious design to create a pedestrian space connecting the two banks of the Suzhou Creek, the builders will also create a bridge deck space that can stay, allowing citizens to move more leisurely in the public space.
The main bridge will realize a crossing of the river, and there will be no piers in the water. There are 24 meters of long ramps on each side of the main bridge, and the riverfront is equipped with green belts. On the east and west sides of the bridge, a ladder is set up to facilitate the public to walk on the bridge. The slope of the bridge is gentle, the height difference transition is natural, it is convenient for walking, and non-motorized vehicles can be implemented.
Although it is a pedestrian-based bridge, its construction significance is extraordinary. This project is a supporting project of "one river and one river" in Shanghai, and the bridge spans the Jing'an and Putuo districts. The entire project starts from the intersection of Anyuan Road and West Suzhou Road in the west, crosses the Suzhou Creek in the east, and connects with the intersection of Chang'an West Road and Guangfu Road. The project plays an important role in the realization of the goal of "one river and one river" slow space networking in the central section of Suzhou Creek.
