Yu Xiuhua, shaking in the human world

author:The wind is in the woods

When Yu Xiuhua was at her hottest, I didn't read her poetry collection, probably mainly preconceived prejudice, and the name of one of her poems, "Across Most of China to Sleep with You", made me feel vulgar. Sleeping is generally Chinese ashamed to talk about it, and it will not be put on the table to tell the world with the art of poetry. So I think maybe she's just trying to get people's attention and make a big splash.

However, after recently, after reading some of Yu Xiuhua's works by chance, my impression of her suddenly changed 180 degrees. Yu Xiuhua's poems write about life and love, her poetry style is beautiful, and with the original flavor of life, her life is difficult, but not desperate. She has a faint sadness with cold arrogance and stubbornness, but she has never been confused about self-abandonment. Although she has lived at the bottom for a long time, she has a deep individual awakening and enlightenment. Her self-esteem is innate, although she has been hurt, but never yielded, her love poems are written thrillingly, with the tension and enthusiasm of life, we are surprised by the heat of her love, although there is pain, but not humble, strong as wine, but not exaggerated. For example, her "A Man On the Roof Looking Up at the Stars", "I Love You", and "The Wind Blows" are both frank and hot, but also beautiful and sad. There is a power that goes straight to the heart. I think that some of her poems are very similar to Gu Cheng's poetic style, with a degree of tension, thickness and lightness, a large number of blank spaces, like a far-reaching Chinese painting, giving people a lot of room for reverie.

Perhaps Yu Xiuhua is lucky, she uses poetry as her crutch, and can walk shakily in the world. And I heard that Yu Xiuhua also found her own love, perhaps she was as lucky as Madame Browning, the person who loved her could see her indomitable soul, a different color. But who knows? Life is not until the last moment, who can jump to conclusions!
