The Sixth Session of the 15th Shanghai Municipal People's Congress opened this morning at the World Expo Center. Shanghai Mayor Gong Zheng made a "Government Work Report".
When talking about Shanghai's "three major tasks", Gong Zheng said that this year will implement a greater degree of stress testing in the Lingang New Area of the Shanghai Free Trade Zone to promote the construction of the core area of the global power city; will fully support and actively cooperate with the science and technology innovation board to deepen institutional innovation and promote the listing of more "hard technology" enterprises; and will fully implement the "14th Five-Year Plan" implementation plan and a new round of three-year action plans for the integrated development plan of the Yangtze River Delta, and accelerate the promotion of 24 key coordinated deepening matters.
