The "orange light" that walks through the streets and alleys
On July 25, 2021, Typhoon No. 6 "Fireworks" came into a menacing manner. When the people of the city are staying at home, our orange figure is retrograde in the streets and alleys.
"Rescue dispatch, rescue dispatch, the address of the crime is near Shenchang Road, high-altitude rescue..." At 9:15 a.m., the Xinhong Special Service Station dispatched the sixth police situation. As the commander of The New Rainbow No. 2 car, I found an iron billboard of about 80 square meters on the top of the 6 floors of the hotel, and the situation was very critical.
"Bring your axe, cutter, rescue rope bag and follow me!" The safety officer is on guard downstairs! At the sound of the order, my brothers and I immediately rushed to the top of the building. Wear protective equipment, make fixed fulcrums, launch demolition equipment... Bean-sized raindrops washed the goggles, and the slippery scaffolding made the rescue more difficult. After 30 minutes, the 52 iron plates were successfully removed. Too late to reply to the hotel owner's thanks, we counted the personnel and equipment and rushed to the next rescue site...
In 2021, the Xinhong Special Service Station received 747 police cases, and the day typhoon "Fireworks" landed set a single-day record of 26 accidents and rescues. On November 5, 2021, the 4th China International Import Expo opened. Xinhong No. 2 fire truck took the initiative to ask for help, and performed fire security garrison tasks at the Hongqiao high-speed rail station with the highest flow of people and the greatest risk and hidden danger.
Garrison is not on standby, we must investigate and familiarize, equipment maintenance, inspection and inspection, hidden dangers, water source maintenance, actual combat drills... When you are hungry, you sit by the side of the car to eat, and when you are tired, you lie on the car to take a nap, and the 20 days of perseverance are to ensure that all kinds of emergencies are eliminated and solved with the shortest time, the fastest action, and the highest efficiency. In addition, New Year's Day, Spring Festival, May Day, National Day... Every holiday, the Xinhong No. 2 fire truck stops here to perform its mission.
For four consecutive years since the first "Expo", as long as the Xinhong No. 2 fire truck is stationed here, the number of fire alarms in the Hongqiao hub is always zero. Behind this "zero", it is not accidental and not lucky. This is thanks to our daily arrival with the first train and the withdrawal of the last flight; it is thanks to our careful inspection of nearly 50,000 square meters of space every three hours.
