Rescuers quickly adjusted the plan, diving from the ice cave more than 30 meters upstream, and using the impact of the current, approaching the falling vehicle.
It was pitch black under the ice, and rescuers searched for it by the glimmer of a diving flashlight. The water was turbulent, and the rescuers grabbed the sediment at the bottom of the river, moved little by little, and tried to search again and again...
Seeing the rescuers fighting with cold, their faces pale, and their families with tears in their eyes, "Or don't go down, the people are gone, don't put you in again..."
Under-ice salvage is an enclosed space, and in the event of an accident, the chances of a diver surviving are slim. In order to comfort the living and respect the deceased, rescuers once again dived into the glacier, and after more than 70 minutes of rescue, the father and son were finally rescued ashore.
The rescue mission was carried out by the special service brigade of the Changchun Fire Rescue Detachment in Jilin Province (hereinafter referred to as "special service station"). Founded in 1989, the Special Service Station is one of the first special service teams formed by the national fire rescue team. In the past 32 years since its establishment, the special service station has participated in more than 16,000 fire fighting and rescue battles, rescued more than 4,300 people in distress, and is a heroic group known for daring to fight hard battles, fighting evil battles well, and winning battles.
As early as July 1995, a fire broke out at a passenger station in the special service station, and firefighters Xu Xuezhen and Sun Dongwei died heroically to rescue the masses.
Over the years, the special service station has insisted on carrying out activities such as the pre-speech duties of the martyrs' monument and the tradition in the honor room, encouraging generations of firefighters to fulfill their responsibilities.
In 2017, a fire broke out on the first and second floors of Changchun Guoshang Department Store, the garment area on the third floor was full of flammable materials, the fire spread along the façade of the building, and a large number of high-rise office personnel were trapped, and the situation was very critical!
The special service quickly entered the battle at one stop, braving the high temperature and the risk of decorations collapsing to open up passages and forcefully attack and extinguish the fire. At the same time, a search was carried up the evacuation staircase to organize the evacuation of more than 320 trapped people.
To frighten the unconscious, escaped crowds, firefighters carried them up and quickly evacuated. Carrying more than 80 pounds of equipment and equipment, less than 30 minutes from the 20th floor to and from the 20th floor three times, to achieve a major result of zero casualties.
At the special service station, almost everyone is breaking through themselves and practicing thousands of hammers, from ordinary young people to fire fighters.
Wang Hongwei, "the most beautiful firefighter in the country", assistant to the station chief of the special service station and the leader of the diving rescue detachment, is an "amphibious" hero who can rescue the fire and rescue underwater. He has successively won the "Top Ten Most Beautiful Firefighters in The Country" and "National Special Excellent People's Police", and has been awarded the first class merit 3 times, the second class merit 1 time, and the third class merit 10 times.
"Rescue is a race against death, and we must go all out and race against every second." Wang Hongwei said.
At the age of 39, he is the oldest firefighter in the Special Service Brigade and a veritable "Desperate Sanlang". Every time he trained, he practiced first and ran in front, and his comrades-in-arms advised him, "All 'uncle-level' figures, don't fight so hard!" ”

On August 15, 2017, a 3-year-old girl accidentally fell and scissors were inserted into the brow bone above the eyeball, at a depth of five or six centimeters. Ct examination and surgery must cut scissors, but the injury is special, and a little carelessness will cause secondary damage to the eyeball and brain.
Wang Hongwei was ordered to be in danger, after calm thinking, he held his breath, clenched his teeth, first fixed it with pliers, and then cut it once with a power cut, in one go, steady and fast, and won time for rescuing patients.
Performing various rescue missions, physical fitness is only the "entry certificate", and skills are "killer skills". Faced with more than 2,700 sets of equipment of 12 categories, Wang Hongwei and his teammates practiced using a motorized chain saw to open the cap of a beer bottle and clamping eggs with an expander. In particular, in view of the low visibility of fire extinguishing and the strong timeliness of disaster relief, they covered their eyes to practice operations, simulated scenes to practice psychology, and team confrontation practiced cooperation.
Wang Hongwei is not only the "general who always wins" on the competition field, but also the "gold medal coach" on the training ground. He has served as a coach for the province's diver training course for 11 consecutive years, has trained more than 200 professional divers, and has played an important role in many water rescue missions.
In 2019, 12 commanders and fighters of the Special Service Brigade participated in the first national "Flame Blue" competition, and 8 projects won two laurels. Participate in the international exchange competition, compete with 22 participating teams, and win the first place in the heaviest gun and gun cooperative fire extinguishing exercise.
In the past 20 years since joining the team, Liu Liang, the winner of the 25th "China Youth May Fourth Medal" and the deputy captain of the special service brigade, has always been rooted in the frontline of grassroots rescue. On March 31, 2016, a fire broke out in Changchun Jinyuan Home City, and on the same day, it caught up with the seven-level wind, and the fire quickly spread from the auxiliary building to the main building by taking advantage of the wind, hundreds of millions of yuan of decoration materials were in danger, and nearly 100 owners were anxious.
With years of actual combat experience, Liu Liangdai resolutely took the corridor between the two buildings as the main direction of attack, on the one hand commanding personnel to clean up nearby materials, on the other hand mobilizing hook machines to break the corridor, organizing forces to block the fire, after 6 hours of continuous fighting, successfully blocked the spread of fire.
After the fire was extinguished, the owners held the firefighter's hand tightly, "All our belongings are inside, if this fire burns, we will not be able to live..."
In this battle, Liu Liang's helmet was seriously deformed due to the fire, and was stored in the Special Service Brigade History Museum, which became a true portrayal of the special service team members going to the soup again and again and were born into death.
In the late summer and early autumn of 2020, three typhoons landed in Jilin one after another, the Songhua River, a first-class tributary of the Songhua River, broke its banks, 2 administrative villages were submerged in a very short period of time, a large number of houses were soaked by floods, and some people who were too late to transfer faced life danger at any time.
The special service station "moved by the flood", rushed to the aid of the levee, and put in personnel search and rescue at 1 a.m., fighting for 8 consecutive hours, evacuating and transferring 71 people.
After the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, the number of unpaid blood donations has dropped sharply, and the clinical use of blood in hospitals is tense. The special service station issued a blood donation call for the first time, and the commanders and fighters who had just finished fire fighting and rescue also joined the long blood donation team, and more than 20,000 milliliters of blood were quickly sent to the blood station, which suddenly solved the urgent need for local clinical blood.
The first station of the special service has been awarded the second class merit of the collective twice and the third class merit three times, and won the honors of "advanced grass-roots party organization of the public security active duty unit", the national outstanding public security grass-roots unit, and the national 119 fire control advanced collective.
