The Telegraph: Spurs want to sign a new midfielder and consider bringing in Casey this month

The Daily Telegraph reported that Spurs want to sign AC Milan midfielder Casey this month to avoid more fierce competition this summer.

Casey's current contract with Milan is about to expire at the end of the season and his future is still unknown. Palatic knew the Ivorian midfielder when he was at Juve.

Spurs are evaluating the top players on the winter window to sign the top players in the reinforcement list to strengthen Conte's squad. Conte wants to bring in a new midfielder, as well as a right wing-back.

It is reported that in order to avoid more competition this summer, Spurs are willing to pay a transfer fee this month to take Casey away. Spurs, meanwhile, have been in contact with Milan over a potential trade in Tamganga.
