In the 32nd minute, Christian Pulisic split to the right, Cheek accelerated past Rodriguez and swept the ball in front of the goal, Pulisic pushed an empty goal to give AC Milan a 1-0 lead.
In the 36th minute, Ritchie bounced right-footed from outside the perimeter, Schuls turned and shot the goal, Meignan could not save and Torino equalized.
In the 39th minute, Leo picked out a cross from the left, Olivier Giroud headed back, Buongiorno fouled a handball in the box, and the referee awarded a penalty after being reminded by VAR. Olivier Giroud tricked Milinkovic, and the ball was secured.
In the third minute of first-half stoppage time, Leo slid on the left side of the penalty area, Te'o inserted at high speed, and the outside of his left foot rubbed into the net, giving AC Milan a 3-1 lead.
