As we all know, Yangshan County has the largest karst peak cluster landform in Guangdong, where the peaks are towering, the canyons are deep, and unfathomable underground rivers and caves are developed underground.
But few people know that there is also a strange karst landform hidden in Yangshan County's Weighing Frame Township, where there is a dense forest of sharp knives and stones, and each stone peak is sharp and straight to the blue sky, which is frightening.
This large-scale knife-tip stone forest landscape is located in Dongkengping, Yao Nationality Township, Weijia Township, about 26 kilometers away from Weijia Township. The country road winds from the weighing hill at the bottom of the canyon to the mountain plains at an altitude of about 800 meters.
The country road at your feet is about 4.5 meters wide and makes it very easy to get a car. As the terrain gets higher and higher, the view becomes more and more open, and the spectacular scale frame Grand Canyon can be seen from afar. On the other side of the canyon there is a giant natural reclining Buddha, which is the famous scale reclining Buddha, with a drop of nearly 800 meters.
Cars circled among countless karst peaks, scattered along the way with small, secluded villages. After passing shan zhu ping, turn right at the leaky flat, and at the end of the village road is Dongkeng Ping. Dongkengping is backed by the Nanling Mountains, surrounded by some karst peaks, which is a terrace at an altitude of about 700 meters, and the terrain is relatively flat.

The Sharp Knife Stone Forest is located on the east side of DongkengPing on the east side of an unnamed hill, and from an aerial perspective, this stone forest is particularly spectacular, with the stone peaks pointing straight at the sky like a sword, like a group of soldiers waiting for the chief to review.
The scale frame stone forest is similar to the Lunan stone forest in Yunnan Province. However, most of the stone peaks of the Lunan Stone Forest are pagoda-shaped, while the scale frame stone forest is more sharp, and each small stone peak is like a sharp knife, which makes people shudder.
Karst stone forests are formed by the erosion of rainwater. This peculiar landform is occasionally found elsewhere, but none of them is as dense and spectacular as the Scale Frame Stone Forest.
Under the aerial lens, you can only see the scale of the scale of the stone forest, only by personally walking into the depths of the stone forest, you will truly appreciate the shock brought by the stone peaks, most of the small stone peaks here are 10 meters high, close to the height of 3 floors.
The stone peaks here have one form, some like a lone peak, some like a knife tip, some like a cylinder, some like an eagle's beak, a variety of shapes, and only a wonderful portrait. Immersed in it, it is like walking into the Wonder Stone Grand View Garden, and I have to sigh the magic of nature.
At present, there are very few outsiders who know about the stone forest of the scale frame, so there is no tourism development here, so there is no mature boardwalk in the stone forest. It is also daunting to be dense with thorns, and if you are not careful, your skin will be scratched with spikes and blood.
Although there are no mature paths between the stone forests, we who are keen to explore and discover them still plan to hike once to see if the deep stone forests hide secrets that are unknown to people. So, we used our hands and feet together, climbing up and down between the stone peaks, as if dancing in a sharp knife array.

As we walked, we suddenly found ourselves in a dilemma. There were still countless stone peaks ahead, one after another; the way back was also very difficult. It took more than an hour to climb more than 200 meters, and then we had to continue to move forward.
This operation was extremely ill-prepared, not even basic outdoor gloves. Later, everyone's palms were scratched by the sharp stone peaks. With the courage to forge ahead, we continued to walk stone crevices or peaks.
During the march, we found that the surface of many stone peaks showed various colors such as dark red, earth yellow, and goose yellow, which fully showed that there should be a lot of other rich minerals in the rock formation.
Old Deng, the guide, told me that this stone forest does contain minerals. Because there was once a small lead and zinc mine next to the stone forest, although it has not been excavated for many years, the mountain mass in many places is seriously damaged. Otherwise, this sharp knife stone forest will be more natural and complete.
This time, we walked in the sharp knife stone forest for three hours, but only walked a third of the area. Is there any other secret hidden in this stone forest? For the time being, it is not known.
