Shenzhen, January 19 (Zhu Zuying) The Shenzhen Municipal Health Commission released a message on the evening of the 19th that as of 17:00 on January 19, no new cases were found in Shenzhen. On 18 January, Shenzhen reported a confirmed case of cleaning staff with international crew members stationed at the hotel (case 18). At present, the Shenzhen Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention has completed the whole genome sequencing of the new coronavirus in case 18, and the result is the Aomi Kerong variant, which is a new independent epidemic.

It is reported that since the outbreak of the epidemic on January 7, Shenzhen has reported a total of 18 cases. Case 18 is the second case of Omikejong detected in Shenzhen. After review by the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Aomi Kerong variant (BA.2 evolutionary branch) infected by case 18 was compared with the currently available data such as domestic cases, imported case databases, and global new coronavirus databases, and no highly homologous viral genome sequences were found.

In addition, the first Case of Aomi Kerong in Shenzhen (Case 17 in the "0115" epidemic) was infected with the Aomi Kerong variant (BA.1 evolutionary branch), which is a different evolutionary branch and belongs to different sources from the Omil kerong variant infected by case 18.

Judging from the results of flow tracing and gene sequencing, case 18 is a new independent epidemic - "0118" epidemic.

After preliminary investigation, the recent activity trajectory of case 18 includes being in a closed-loop management state and no community activities during the work period from January 1 to 14; from January 1 to 14, the international crew entered the "red area" (high-risk area) of the hotel to work, during which no contact with the staff of the "green area" (low-risk area) was found, and no risk of regional transmission was found; after the shift change on January 14, he was transferred to the centralized isolation hotel for medical observation, and has been in a closed-loop management state.

Since the beginning of this year, Shenzhen has reported a total of 3 independent epidemics, and the circulation traceability, investigation and control are being carried out in an orderly manner. Among them, there was no new "0107" epidemic (16 cases), and there was no new social surface "zero new" for 7 consecutive days (new additions were found among the controlled close contacts), the overall risk was basically controlled, and 1 of the 16 cases had been cured and discharged.

There was no new "0115" epidemic situation (1 case), the overseas commodity outbound list contacted by case 17 was detected positive, and the nucleic acid test results of the close contacts, sub-close contacts, general contacts and key populations involved in the management were negative, and no abnormalities were found.

There was no new "0118" epidemic (1 case), and the nucleic acid test results of close contacts who have been included in the management are negative, and no abnormalities have been found. (End)
