AT PRESENT, MG Motor is working to promote a revamped mg ZS EV to the new MG ZV EV in India, which will share new skin components and some of the functions of MG Astor. MG ZS EV will also benefit from the new ADAS features. The MG ZS EV is a medium-sized compact SUV equipped with an electric drivetrain of 142PS and 353N·m.

The MG ZS EV is the company's first electric vehicle to launch in the Indian market, rivaling the Hyundai Kona EV in terms of price and segment. The MG ZS EV is equipped with a 3-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor and a 44.5kWh battery pack that delivers 142 PS of power and 353 N·m of torque with 8.5 seconds of acceleration per 100 km/h. The MG ZS EV has a range of 419 km on a single charge and can be charged quickly in 50 minutes with a 50kW CCS type charging point (0-80%).

In addition, the MG ZS EV is equipped with all-wheel disc brakes, front McPherson struts and rear torsion beam suspension settings, 215/55 R17 wheels, and more. It has 6 airbags, TPMS, ramp assist system, rear parking assist system, ISOFIX child seat anchor, connected car function, as well as Android Auto/Apple CarPlay large infotainment system, LED lighting system, leather seat, panoramic sunroof, electric driver's seat, etc.

The MG ZS EV is available in two variants: Excite and Exclusive, and is available in three color options: Skyscraper, Copenhagen Blue, and Gooseberry Red. The current generation mg ZS EV is priced at INR 2.20-2.5 million (about RMB187,600-213,200) before subsidies. The price of the revamped model is expected to be the same as that of the ADAS-equipped model.
