At the two sessions of Sichuan Province this year, Xia Ba, a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference," suggested the construction of a general airport in Litang: "Litang is the most core area in the Kangnan region, and it is particularly important to strengthen traffic construction. As a cppcc member, I want to raise the most important issues in the local area to be solved. ”
Member Kezhu told the Kham Satellite TV reporter that at this year's two sessions, he prepared a total of 5 proposals, in addition to paying attention to agricultural modernization and educational development, what he is most concerned about in recent years is the traffic development of his hometown Litang.
In 2018, the Yakang Expressway was fully opened to traffic, and the members of the Yang Kezhu Committee could not wait to experience it, "A mountain was crossed in a few minutes, and the bottom of my heart was really happy and proud." While the statewide traffic network is accelerating, members of the Yang Kezhu Committee are also concerned about the improvement of the traffic environment in Litang County. Before coming to Chengdu to participate in the meeting, Xiayang Kezhu consulted a large number of materials and conducted many visits and investigations in Litang. In his hometown of Xiaba Jueju Township, Litang County, Xiayang Kezhu found that many cooperatives are facing traffic and logistics constraints: "We have high-quality vegetables, fungi, and Chinese medicinal materials in Litang, but these are not resistant to storage. The cost of transportation and logistics is too high, and the product cannot be spent on the road."
After careful understanding, Xiayang Kezhu believes that transportation development is of great significance to farmers and herdsmen and small and micro enterprises in Litang County; and from a macro point of view, transportation development can play an extremely important role in national strategy, economic layout, ethnic unity, social stability, and cultural exchanges.
Combined with what he has seen and heard, Xiayang Kezhu made suggestions: First, to build a general airport in Litang; second, to strengthen the basic supporting construction of the Litang section of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway, which is currently under construction.
