It seems that Huawei is not abnormal and is fulfilling its strategy.
But is this true? Do people really believe that Huawei will not build cars?
Why doesn't Huawei build a car

The biggest difference between smart cars and traditional cars is intelligence, and the Internet of Vehicles, automatic driving, and three-electric systems will form an important part of the value of future smart cars. Huawei has long been ahead of traditional car companies in the field of intelligence.
If Huawei builds a car, it will be a bit of a dimensionality reduction blow, and traditional car companies will feel that the threat is incomparably great. At this time, Huawei said that it does not build cars, which can not only reduce hostility to traditional cars, but also hopes to become a supplier of vehicle solutions for major car companies with its own advantages. On the contrary, if Huawei says that it wants to build cars, will car companies still let their competitors become their suppliers?

According to Huawei's own words: only 30% of the value of future smart cars is reflected in the traditional body, chassis, etc., while 70% of the value is in automatic driving, Internet of Things and so on. So we can also see that Huawei's perception of smart cars also affects Huawei's decision-making.
Huawei may still build a car
Having said all that, is it possible to say that Huawei really does not build cars? No, from the current situation, Huawei may eventually go down to build a car.
Although Huawei has successfully provided solutions for some car companies and launched excellent smart cars, so far, most of the car companies cooperating with Huawei are not top car companies, and the top domestic car companies such as SAIC and FAW have not planned to choose Huawei's solutions. Most of these top car companies also recognize the value of 70% of the future development prospects of smart cars. Therefore, they prefer to share a piece of the pie through self-research, rather than sticking to the profits in the traditional automotive field.
On the other hand, although Huawei positions itself as a supplier, the fact is that most of the people who buy Huawei's cooperative car companies to launch smart cars are going to the Huawei brand.
